Documentation requests (letters, forms, summaries) — Associate Handbook
Purpose
Clients sometimes request documentation (e.g., a summary letter of services). This policy sets expectations for timelines and fees.
How a client requests documentation
- The client can submit the request to their counsellor.
Processing time
- We aim to process documentation requests within 10 business days.
Fees
- A documentation fee applies.
- The counsellor will provide an estimate in advance.
- The associate may consult with admin before quoting the documentation fee.
- Note: documentation fees may vary by counsellor depending on the nature of the request. Clients should be informed accordingly.

Notes (important)
- Documentation may be used for insurance, employment, or legal contexts. If a client indicates court involvement, the counsellor should proceed thoughtfully and within scope.
